Modern Batik Challenge

So better late than never. I was able to get this far on this project before my machine decided to bite the proverbial dust.

So I at least this project got this far and my machine will be up and running soon
Rise n' Shine is the fabric I chose for this piece that is my second modern piece I have ever done.

Diamonds Gone Wrong

I hope all all of you like the simplicity of this project. I took a 10 inch block, and a two and one half inch strip and wanted to make a diamond shape. As you can see this blonde chick went and did something WRONG!!!!

Now onto June's Challenge dealing with curves...

Spring Clean Your Studio

When I read on Facebook about a Spring Cleaning Studio Bog Hop I was more than thrilled to participate. I can't thank Cheryl Sleboda enough for the proverbial kick the in cyber pants for doing this task that honestly I have put off for far too long.  Here are some before pics that look like my studio looks like. You would think a tornado went through the room. Honestly speaking I have been quite busy working on projects for Island Batik, and hosting a retreat all while working three jobs.

So here are the before pictures of what looks like a tornado came through and destroyed this poor sewing studio. Wait til you see the after pics. And to think it only took a few days that turned in to a few weeks

Life couldn't be better now that things are more organized. Here are the after photos:

Couldn't resist to show pics of my mom grammy, and my sister. Plus my sons baby hat.

Reorganized some of my fabric stash. More pics to come of all my fabric.

Now that you have seen what I have done take that hop over to the other peeps involved in this blog hop:
