Flowers in the Subway

I made this quilt top from one of Moda's fabric line called "Ruby" by Bonnie and Camille. I love this fabric and cannot wait for the quilt to be completed. I am quilting it with diagonal lines. I found this quilt top to be quite easy to put together and it was also very fun... I hope you like it and would love to hear how you feel...

My First Program

I am doing my first program at my local quilt guild... How stoked can someone get...

Tomorrow I will be presenting a program on Organizational Tips
for your sewing/quilt space... I will share my ideas on how to maximize even the smallest areas. Then for a bit of fun I will have an open forum so that anyone who attends the program can share there ideas.. I have a theory I follow in life and that is " You never can learn too much so take what you learn from other whether it be criticism or just sound advice and fly with it" It always works in the end...

So come out and join me at the Cape Cod Quilters Guild at the Dennis Senior Center
Rte 134 in South Dennis at 7 pm.
Guest fee $5.00 and if you like what you see join our group we would love to have you...

A Charity Quilt

I couldn't sleep last night so I got out of bed left my husband snoring away and decided to sneak down to my quilt studio and start cutting and sewing... I definitely had my "Mojo" on... If I only could have this on a daily basis I could be whipping quilt tops out left and right... I made this quilt from fabric I obtained from a woman that's involved with the Local Quilt Bank. I looked at the fabric and it came to my mind very quickly... So this is what I came up with the only thing I need to do now is to get the back created and to throw it on the quilt frame and quilt away... I hope the lucky recipient of this quilt enjoys the quilt I created... Share your thoughts...
